Dr Ronald Guevara is an Australian trained Endocrine Surgeon.  He specialises in Thyroid, Parathyroid and Adrenal Surgery.  He operates both in the public and private sector.  He regularly  attends and presents his patients at the Endocrine MDT. In addition, he is the chair of the Liverpool Adrenal MDT.  Dr. Guevara participates in the acute surgical and trauma care roster at Liverpool Hospital. 


He maintains credentialing at Liverpool Hospital, St George Private Hospital and Sydney South West Private Hospital.

Background

Dr. Ronald Guevara is a highly accomplished surgical specialist and consultant in Endocrine Surgery. He completed his General Surgery training at Liverpool Hospital, St George Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, Campbelltown Hospital, as well as multiple regional centres. After becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2019,  he undertook two years of intensive fellowship training in Breast, Endocrine and Head & Neck surgery at St George Hospital. He has been published in the ANZ Journal of Surgery and has had multiple presentations in the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) Annual Scientific Conference.

Bachelor of Science (BS) and minor in Chemistry from Duke University in the United States

Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sydney

Master of Surgery (MS) from the University of Sydney 

Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS)
